Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Senior Sustainability and Net Zero Consultant to lead energy modelling and planning support for major UK projects across London, Birmingham, Manchester, and other offices.

You will deliver energy strategies, SAP/EPC lodgements, and sustainability statements, with strong knowledge of BREEAM/WELL, HQM, and Level 5 IES modelling. The role involves client workshops and coordinating design teams.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of residential and non-residential energy modelling.
• BREEAM Assessor.
• Ensure that the Quality System procedures are adhered to.
• Lead external workshops and design team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Energy Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Lodgement of SAP calculations.
• Lodgement of non-domestic and domestic EPCs.
• Delivery of Sustainability Statements for Planning Applications.
• Knowledge of BREEAM / WELL.
• Knowledge of Home Quality Mark (HQM).
• Thermal modelling to Level 5 (preferred).
• Knowledge of façade performance and U-value calculations.
• Knowledge of Energy Auditing and Assessment.
• Knowledge of daylight calculations.
• Input into fee proposals.
