The role involves leading M&E design, coordinating with architects and contractors, and shaping innovative processes and software to support ESG compliance and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5+ years of engineering experience, or non-cognate graduate with 5+ years and accreditations (e.g., CIBSE LCC/LCEA).
• Membership of CIBSE, IMechE or IET is preferred.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and HVAC design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD M&E and UK construction contracts knowledge.
• Commitment to sustainability in design and ESG considerations.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise efficient design solutions with ESG considerations.
• Deliver M&E refurbishment and new installation projects to programme and budget.
• Engage in client-facing activities, negotiate, and manage stakeholders.
• Support business development and grow client base with marketing team.
• Prepare presentations and write reports on design implications.
• Promote energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Manage external consultants and contractors.
• Maintain project management procedures and QA.
• Design layout of mechanical/electrical distribution.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and health and safety requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with clients.
