Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group seeks a Development Team Lead (.NET) to provide hands-on technical leadership and delivery oversight for enterprise applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. You will guide modernization from VB.NET/WCF to ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and microservices in Azure, while mentoring teammates and driving quality.

You will collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, and delivery to ensure predictable, high-quality releases and alignment with long-term platform

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development with .NET Framework/Core.
2+ years in a people leader role.
Experience migrating legacy WCF/SOAP to ASP.NET Core Web API.
Strong knowledge of REST, microservices, and Azure services.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring for a .NET enterprise team.
Lead sprint planning, backlog readiness, and ensure timely delivery.
Drive modernization of legacy VB.NET/WCF apps to ASP.NET Core and microservices.
Ensure quality through code reviews, testing, and performance improvements.
