Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking an experienced .NET developer in Reading to lead the microservices and API development for a secure messaging platform. You will design, build, test, and maintain APIs while ensuring high security and reliability within an Agile team.

The role requires strong C# and Python skills, expertise with .NET 8+ and Entity Framework, and experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of .NET development and modern coding practices.
• Skilled in C#, Python, .NET 8.0+, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures; Redis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of microservices and APIs for the secure messaging platform.
• Design, test, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability and security.
• Evaluate new technologies and document design specs and tests.
