You will contribute across the full SDLC, focusing on performance, scalability and reliability, with exposure to technologies like MongoDB, RabbitMQ and REST/SOAP services.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years’ commercial software development experience.
• Background developing large, complex enterprise applications.
• Experience working for a software product or technology company where software is core to the business.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
• Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience writing efficient, maintainable, well‑tested code.
• Knowledge of low‑level programming concepts such as memory management, threading, performance optimisation and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in ongoing development of a sophisticated software platform across the full SDLC.
• Design new functionality and improve existing systems while shaping future platform direction.
• Write high‑quality code with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability.
