Sainsbury's Limited in the UK is seeking a Senior Full stack .NET Engineer to design, build and deliver high-performing technology that improves customer experience, drives business efficiency and reduces operating costs. You’ll help shape technical direction and mentor others whilst championing engineering excellence and be a valued contributor to our broader engineering community.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in .NET development and associated engineering principles.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of React.js/Typescript and modern frontend development standards.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Understanding of serverless functions and event‑driven architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Curiosity for emerging technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build large-scale, high-performance services using the latest technologies and engineering standards.
• Work with technologies such as React.js, SQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions and event‑driven architecture.
• Implement and enhance cloud-based solutions across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Help lead the technical roadmap, shaping the long‑term architecture and engineering strategy.
• Share knowledge, contribute to best practices and enable continuous improvement within the engineering community.
• Lead the design and support of internal frameworks that enhance engineering capabilities across the Sainsbury’s Group.
• Engineer across the entire product lifecycle—from inception through to decommissioning.
• Consider cost, scalability, and operational support implications in your technical decision‑making.
