Sainsbury’s seeks an Associate Engineer to join our engineering teams, helping shape digital experiences across Sainsbury’s, Argos and Habitat. You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment on modern technology solutions and gain hands-on experience with websites, mobile apps, APIs, microservices and cloud-native tech.

You'll contribute to technical roadmaps, learn from experienced engineers, and develop your skills across AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, C#, React and Next.js in a large-scale

Qualificações

• Commercial experience or strong academic background in software engineering or computer science.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language or framework such as C# .Net, React, Next.js, JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and development best practices.
• Awareness of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative ways of working.

Responsabilidades

• Contributing to the design, development and support of scalable technology solutions and customer-facing products.
• Building and enhancing websites, mobile applications, APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Learning and applying cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and GCP).
• Supporting the engineering lifecycle from development through to deployment, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs.
