Sainsbury's is seeking a Senior Full stack .NET Engineer to design, build and deliver high‑performing software that improves customer experience and reduces costs.

You will shape technical direction and mentor colleagues while championing engineering excellence across the product lifecycle, working with React.js/TypeScript, SQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes and Docker.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in .NET development and associated engineering principles.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of React.js/TypeScript and modern frontend standards.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Understanding of serverless functions and event‑driven architecture.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Curiosity for emerging tech and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large‑scale, high‑performance services with modern standards.
• Lead technical roadmap and long‑term architecture decisions.
