Job summary
The Insolvency Service in partnership with Inspire People is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join its Digital Services team and help modernise and improve digital services used by colleagues, businesses and the public. This is a permanent role with a salary of £48,429 - £57,722 (payable after interview) and 29% employer pension contribution plus full Civil Service benefits.
Flexible, hybrid working from 9 UK locations.
Qualifications
- C# and .NET development experience within modern web applications.
- Experience with TDD/BDD, automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps.
- Knowledge of APIs, real-time, scheduled and messaging services.
- Experience with cloud-based IaaS and PaaS solutions and secure software development.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to contribute to technical discussions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain secure, accessible enterprise applications.
- Deliver functionality against user stories and Agile objectives.
- Improve code quality through automated testing, peer reviews and debt reduction.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, engineering standards and reusable components.
- Support live services through incidents, releases and documentation.
