Job summary

Tact is seeking a Senior .NET Developer in Manchester to help transform a large monolithic platform into a modern, scalable microservices architecture. The role combines breaking down legacy modules with greenfield work to create new services from scratch.

You will contribute architectural decisions, ensure performance and reliability, and mentor other engineers as the platform evolves through continuous delivery and integration.

Qualifications

• Strong C#/.NET fundamentals
• Good architectural judgement
• Ability to understand and improve complex systems
• Senior-level mentoring experience

Responsibilities

• Decide how parts of the existing platform should be separated, rebuilt and improved
• Help create new services to replace legacy components
• Mentor and support other developers within the team
• Build new services and applications from scratch while evolving the platform
