Job summary

A staffing and recruiting company in Central London is seeking a Mid-Senior Software Engineer for an exciting greenfield project. You will build a brand-new, cloud-native platform using .NET and Azure PaaS, contributing to all stages of the software lifecycle. This contract role offers hybrid working with one day onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of APIs using ASP.NET, MVC, Web API.
• Experience with Event Driven Architectures and Event Sourced Architectures.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design, resilience, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud environments.
• Proficiency in continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
• Background working in agile, autonomous development teams.

Our client are on an exciting greenfield journey to build a brand-new, cloud-native platform. You will work closely with product owners, analysts, and other engineers to shape and build a cutting-edge platform from the ground up. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and operation in production. They are building this platform in modern .NET and Azure PaaS.
