Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Limited in Llay, Wrexham is seeking a Lead NC Programming Engineer to interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings and to engineer components using NC programming and Vericut techniques.

You will lead the NC programming team, drive process improvements to reduce machine runtimes, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards on a unionised site.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in High Speed Machining.
• 5 years at this level in NC programming/operations.

Responsibilities

• Engineer components using NC programming and verification on CNC machines.
• Create prove-out sheets and oversee prove-out of new programs.
• Read and interpret customer specifications and drawings.
