Job summary

McElroy Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a leading Aerospace engineering company for a CNC Programmer to join their team in the Craigavon area. The role focuses on 3 and 5 axis milling, offline CAM programming and Lean manufacturing practices to improve throughput.

You will validate programs, create setup sheets, mentor junior programmers and liaise with toolmakers to implement improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Essential 3 years' machining experience.
• 3 years offline programming experience using a CAM package (Mastercam Hypermill / Delcam / Catia or equivalent).
• Experience working within a lean manufacturing environment.
• Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering degree or HND, BTec Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent.
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Possess strong computer skills to include all programs in the Microsoft Office Suite.
