Job summary

Outsource UK is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – NC Programmer in Samlesbury, England. This position involves creating and modifying NC programs to ensure efficient production and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge and recent experience with CATIA software, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams. The role is full-time, on-site, and requires security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide build line support and resolve issues from tape prove activities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure aligned processes and standards.
• Support manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer – NC Programmer

Contract: 12 Months - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday – onsite Full time.

Overview

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – NC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and improving NC programs to meet project requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedule.

Skills

• Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
• Recent hands‑on experience using CATIA V4/V5 for NC programming.
• Experience generating Condition of Supply (COS) data.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Good understanding of Process planning.

The Job
