Job summary

OSI Maritime Systems seeks a Senior Technical Trainer (Operator) to design, develop and deliver operator training for global customers and internal staff. You will ensure knowledge to safely operate OSI systems and support business development with training inputs.

The role requires naval operations experience and teaching naval students, with strong SAT skills, simulators and adult training delivery. Willingness to travel overseas and obtain NATO clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Naval experience is a requirement.
• Experience in teaching naval students is a requirement.
• Strong skills in Systems Approach to Training and naval training methodologies.
• Experience with simulators and virtual training environments is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of delivering training to adult audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; matrix‑based collaboration.
• Willingness to travel overseas and achieve NATO security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and delivers technical training courses to external and internal audiences based on SAT.
• Competent across all phases of SAT: Analysis, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluate.
• Develops and maintains inputs to operator training materials to ensure currency and quality.
• Develops and maintains operator training resources and systems.
• Liaises with PMO, Engineering, and Product Development to keep training material current.
• Liaises with People Operations to meet internal training needs.
• Keeps current with trends to deliver cost effective, efficient training.
• Provides inputs for training design to support proposals.
• Contributes to OSI Training Strategy and Policy.
