Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting for a Systems Engineer/Technical Lead role based in Bristol, with occasional travel to Portsmouth, to support a major Royal Navy training and simulation programme. You will join a small team of four engineers and contribute to the engineering activities while developing your technical leadership skills.

Qualifications

Strong Systems Engineering background.
Recent experience delivering complex systems or technical solutions.
Experience across the engineering lifecycle, including integration and testing.
Able to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
Willingness to grow into a Technical Lead role while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of complex training and simulation systems.
Provide technical guidance across systems engineering, integration and testing.
Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure successful delivery.
Support technical reviews, demonstrations and acceptance activities.
Identify and manage technical risks and issues.
Contribute to solution development, integration, verification and validation.
