Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established industrial maintenance team in St Austell. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment.
The successful candidate will supervise an engineering team, perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and drive plant reliability while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within industrial settings.
- Proven ability to diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical faults.
- Experience leading or coordinating engineers is preferred.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established industrial maintenance team in St Austell.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Chargehand or Senior Engineer who is ready to take the next step into a leadership or chargehand role while remaining technically involved in the day-to-day maintenance of industrial plant and equipment.
You'll help lead the engineering team and ensure plant and equipment are maintained safely, reliably and efficiently.

Previous experience in a multi-skilled engineering or maintenance role.
Experience working with industrial plant or fixed equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating engineers.
A practical, hands‑on approach to maintenance.
Strong focus on health and safety.
Experience within manufacturing, quarrying, mining, aggregates, chemical, food production or other process environments would be highly relevant.
