Job summary

Sirona care & health in the NHS context seeks an experienced physiotherapist to take a senior clinical supervisory role within the MSK services in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire. You will manage a clinical caseload with advanced MSK reasoning, supervise peers, review service performance data, and contribute to governance, patient safety, and complaints investigations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years post graduate experience working in Musculoskeletal field.
Evidence of working as a clinical supervisor/educator supporting training and clinical practice of peers & junior staff
Experience reviewing MSK service performance data to plan service delivery
Evidence of operational decision making related to staff and service delivery

Responsibilities

Management of clinical caseload demonstrating highly developed clinical reasoning and decision making as part of an orthopedic, RTT pathway.
Line management of B8a and B7 clinicians within the MSKI and first contact Physiotherapy services.
To manage day to day operational activities in terms of scheduling, capacity and demand modelling, complaints and patient safety incidents.
To support delivery of governance activities in line with the service audit calendar to comply with service related protocols and policies.
To undertake investigation and response of patient complaints & concerns.
To engage in CQC compliance modules and ensure service delivery in line with this.
