Job summary

Sirona care & health in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire is seeking a senior administrator to lead the MSK administration team. You will oversee daily admin activities, support recruitment, and help ensure high-quality patient services.

Key duties include line managing staff, training, mentoring, and ensuring SOPs are followed. The role involves workforce planning and potential deputising for Band 5 leads, within an NHS framework.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English are required.
• NVQ level 3 in Business Administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day work of administrative colleagues across localities.
• Ensure appointment booking, workforce allocation, caseload management and patient communication run smoothly.
• Maintain and develop diaries, templates and documents in EMIS.
• Monitor data quality and support audits and reporting for improvements.
• Manage concerns, complaints and adverse events with escalation when needed.
• Line manage, train and mentor colleagues; conduct 1:1 meetings and wellbeing support.
