Job summary

Hollis is seeking an MRICS Building Surveyor to lead multi-skilled surveying instructions across commercial real estate, including offices, retail, industrial, and residential properties. You will manage projects from initiation to delivery, including budgets, specifications, invoicing, and WIP, while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• MRICS Building Surveyor qualification required.
• Experience delivering building surveying instructions within commercial real estate sectors.
• Knowledge of project work and/or dilapidations and TDD preferred.
• Commercially minded; main client contact for stakeholders.
• Confident to lead projects and own responsibilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a healthy pipeline of multi-skilled building surveying instructions, or specialise in project or professional surveys.
• Lead instructions across commercial sectors including offices, retail, industrial sheds/warehouses, and residential properties.
• Deliver dilapidations, TDD, LTA, tenant alterations, and contract administration work.
• Manage client relationships and act as a key contact for predominantly blue-chip private clients and some public-sector clients.
• Contribute to development of the service offering.
• Support junior surveyors, graduates, and the wider team.
• Develop business, source new work, cross-sell Hollis services, and network across the North region.
• Provide excellent client care and manage relationships.
• Lead projects from start to finish, including invoicing, specifications, budgets, and WIP.
• Collaborate with neighbouring offices across the Midlands region.
