Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Motorcycle Chassis team in Leicestershire. You will design systems and components for chassis projects, create Creo 3D CAD models, and produce 2D drawings while ensuring manufacturing and regulatory requirements are met.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, manage timelines, and provide engineering guidance. A degree in engineering and proven design experience in motorcycle chassis are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree-level engineering qualification is required.
• Demonstrable experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawings; Creo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and components for chassis projects, considering function, cost, manufacturing and quality.
• Produce 3D CAD models using Creo to the required standard.
• Produce 2D engineering drawings to the required standard.
• Follow and maintain design, operational and quality procedures.
• Produce supporting documentation for designs as required.
• Design components and systems to comply with regulatory requirements and internal test procedures.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to align expectations and needs.
• Liaise with external suppliers to incorporate design for manufacture feedback.
• Manage time and workload effectively and create/manage timing plans.
