TipTopJob is seeking a Senior Engineer: Chassis Development in Leicestershire. You will drive suspension, ergonomics and chassis design from concept through validation, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure performance meets requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, test procedures, and documentation across UK and international tests, with a focus on practical engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in automotive/motorcycle design and chassis engineering.
• Knowledge of motorcycle geometry, ergonomics and chassis construction.
• Experience with CAD and 3D measurement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop suspension, tyres, chassis geometry, braking systems and ergonomics for new and updated chassis projects.
• Produce high-quality inspection data and 2D inspection drawings.
• Develop and maintain development and test procedures.
• Create documentation for development tests and day-to-day activities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Plan and conduct UK and overseas tests with riders, technicians and contractors.
