Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for Motor pricing across Direct Line, Churchill and Privilege, with hybrid working options in London, Norwich or Leeds. You’ll manage pricing and trading activity across Direct channels, influencing decisions to balance growth, retention and profitability for a broad customer base.

You will collaborate with Pricing, Data and wider business teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, coaching others and driving portfolio performance

Qualifications

• Strong General Insurance pricing experience, ideally within Motor, with a solid understanding of customer portfolios, pricing performance, and market dynamics.
• Advanced analytical skills with experience using pricing and data tools such as Radar, SQL, and/or Python.
• Proven experience developing and enhancing pricing models using multivariate techniques (e.g. Emblem or similar).
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, commercially focused insights that drive decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proactive approach that balances technical, commercial, and customer considerations

• Leading pricing and trading activity across our Direct web and phone channels.
• Managing pricing performance across both new business and existing customer portfolios.
• Influencing the execution of profit and volume trade-offs to maximise business value.
• Delivering pricing changes to support growth, retention and profitability objectives.
• Translating complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
• Using tools such as Radar to support optimisation and delivery to market.
• Working with stakeholders across Pricing, Data and the wider business.
• Supporting and mentoring others within the team.
• Driving improvements in trading, pricing and portfolio performance
