Job summary

Perfect Placement in Salisbury is seeking a highly skilled MOT Technician to join a reputable independent automotive service centre. The role focuses on MOT tests, fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and reporting conditions to management.

Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, 42.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will hold a valid MOT license, a full UK driving licence, and several years of post-qualification MOT experience.

Qualifications

Valid MOT license with active status.
Several years of post-qualification MOT experience.
Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently.
Motivated and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of customer vehicles.
Perform MOT tests and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, and performance to management.
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and work quality standards.
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy workshop environment.
Work collaboratively within a team and contribute toward team targets.
