Perfect Placement is seeking a qualified MOT Technician for a reputable Dorset dealership. You will conduct MOT tests, diagnose faults, and service vehicles to high standards while maintaining detailed records and delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a path for career progression within a supportive team, with a Monday–Friday 42-hour week and opportunities to earn bonuses through MOT and servicing work.

Qualifications

• MOT Tester certification required.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester.
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in line with current legislation and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to high standards.
• Service vehicles efficiently to meet dealership requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Assist with workshop operations and uphold standards.
• Communicate repairs and vehicle condition to customers.
• Ensure work is completed within set timeframes.
