Perfect Placement is seeking a qualified MOT Technician for a reputable Dorset dealership. You will conduct MOT tests, diagnose faults, and service vehicles to high standards while maintaining detailed records and delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a path for career progression within a supportive team, with a Monday–Friday 42-hour week and opportunities to earn bonuses through MOT and servicing work.

Qualifications

• MOT Tester certification required.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester.
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Duties of a MOT Technician

• Conducting MOT tests in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and performing repairs to the highest standard
• Servicing vehicles efficiently to meet dealership and manufacturer requirements
• Maintaining accurate and detailed service records
• Assisting with workshop operations and ensuring standards are upheld
• Communicating effectively with customers regarding repairs and vehicle condition
• Ensuring all work is completed within set timeframes

Requirements of a MOT Technician

• Relevant qualifications, including MOT Tester certification
