Job summary

HiQ Tyres & Autocare invites applications for an MOT Tester Technician. The role is full-time permanent, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with a half-day finish on Saturdays. Salary depends on experience. Join a busy fast-fit centre and perform MOT tests, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience within a fast-fit car centre or a recognised vehicle franchise dealership.
• MOT Tester licence is essential.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests on various types of vehicles.
• Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
• Inspect brakes, tyres and wheel alignment.
• Document test results accurately and provide feedback to owners.
• Stay updated on MOT regulations and procedures.
• Maintain health and safety standards and company guidelines.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records.
