Job summary

Regional Recruitment Services seeks a Senior Mortgage Advisor in Basildon to provide expert mortgage guidance, understand client circumstances, and recommend suitable solutions. You’ll work with a steady flow of leads, offering tailored advice and escorting customers through the loan process.

Ideal candidates have CeMAP Level 1 (or equivalent), a proven mortgage advisory track record, and the motivation to meet sales targets. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package support career growth.

Qualifications

• CeMAP Level 1 or equivalent qualification with mortgage advisory experience.
• CAS status or ability to achieve required status.
• Proven experience working as a Mortgage Advisor.
• Strong track record of achieving sales or performance targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused approach.
• Commercial awareness and a desire to maximise opportunities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Meeting customers to understand financial circumstances and property requirements.
• Providing tailored mortgage advice and guiding customers through the application process.
• Identifying suitable protection and insurance opportunities.
• Managing and converting warm leads into completed business.
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Working closely with property professionals to maximise business opportunities.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
• Developing additional business opportunities from existing customers.
• Liaising with mortgage lenders and other relevant parties.
• Working towards agreed sales and performance targets.
• Maintaining high standards of compliance and ensuring FCA requirements.
