Job summary

Kingfisher invites a Modern Desktop Product Designer to join the Infrastructure Operations team to design and deliver modern desktop services (Windows 11, InTune, Autopilot) that help colleagues work simply, securely and effectively. You will set the direction for end-user computing services across banners.

This hybrid role offers office presence in Paddington or Southampton with about 12 days per month in the office and travel between sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and delivering technical services in an enterprise-scale environment.
Strong background in senior technical support or service design with expertise in InTune, Autopilot and Windows 11.
Experience working with third-party providers and managed service partners.
Feedback-driven approach to service design and continuous improvement.
Clear, inclusive communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver modern desktop services in line with Infrastructure and End User Services objectives.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and governance across projects and BAU.
Create and peer-review infrastructure and service designs for standardisation.
Collaborate with designers, architects, product owners and delivery partners.
Advise stakeholders on solution feasibility, risks and options.
Manage delivery activity using structured planning and tracking.
Champion modern desktop services and share best practices.
