Job summary

Bovis in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial activities for a major MoD project. You will manage procurement, contract administration, and risk, while liaising with the Client team to ensure value and alignment with strategy.

You should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, be able to read drawings, and maintain CSCS. The role requires delivering safely, on time and within budget on a high-value project.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building to influence project teams.
• Experience with procurement and contract administration.
• Ability to read drawings and construction information.
• Strong cost management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of the project in accordance with strategy and best value.
• Liaising with Client team in accordance with the contract.
• Managing supply chain relationships to ensure a consistent approach to procurement.
• Management of commercial, legal, insurance and risk controls.
• Accurate commercial reporting and contract administration including interim payments, cashflows and final accounting.
• Deliver the project safely, on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.
