Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in a hybrid role based in Bristol/London. You will join a cross-functional team to grow product algorithmic recommendations, evolving ML capabilities across the platform and taking ownership from discovery to production.

You will mentor engineers and drive scalable, secure ML systems used by millions of customers daily. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Backend Engineers, lead end-to-end ML system

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in Python and software engineering principles (OO design, patterns, testing) applied to ML.
• Experience designing and operating ML systems in production beyond notebooks.
• Familiarity with serving patterns (REST APIs, batch inference, event-driven).
• Experience with orchestration tools and cloud-native ML platforms.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture of end-to-end ML systems from data ingestion to real-time inference.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Backend Engineers to bridge model development and production systems.
• Transform prototypes into robust, scalable production software.
• Drive MLOps adoption (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, feature stores).
• Communicate ML system complexities to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence within data science domain.
