Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ML, AI, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience developing machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Proficient programming in Python and building production-grade services and APIs.
• Experience with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch in production settings.
• Experience owning ML solutions across full lifecycle: experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Experience building production ML systems at scale and understanding distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Redis, batch/real-time processing, APIs, and low-latency serving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve machine learning models for Content AI applications.
• Design end-to-end ML solutions: data prep, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.
• Apply statistics, experimentation, and data-driven decisions to guide direction.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, applied scientists, and domain experts to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.
• Contribute to system design, API development, and data modelling for production ML systems.
• Build and operate production solutions using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Redis, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infra.
• Design and deploy scalable batch and real-time ML pipelines for customer-facing apps.
• Develop and operationalise LLM applications, RAG systems, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Create evaluation/observability frameworks to monitor model quality, latency, drift, and business impact.
• Evaluate trade-offs between model quality, scalability, latency, and infra cost in production AI.
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy and scale ML systems in production.
• Produce clear technical documentation and share expertise through mentorship and reviews.
