Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Machine Learning Science for the Content AI charter. You will lead a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers across locations, shaping content generation, moderation, and relevance strategies.

You will drive end-to-end ML delivery with a focus on scalable, grounded models, collaboration with Product and Engineering, and ongoing leadership development.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of people leadership in ML/AI teams.
• Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Significant ML experience including model evaluation and production integration.
• Experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions from data prep to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing data science and ML engineering team across locations.
• Set team goals, OKRs, priorities, and rhythms aligned with strategy.
• Oversee end-to-end ML delivery across content generation, moderation, and relevance.
• Guide development of scalable, production-ready ML solutions.
• Manage stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and leadership.
• Promote modular, maintainable software practices and clear communication.
