Job summary

Booking.com in Manchester is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead ML-powered initiatives across Trips, including attractions, flights, and ground transport. You will define strategy and a long-term vision for AI capabilities that help product teams move faster and improve customer experience.

You will partner with Data & AI, engineering, and business leaders, bringing deep ML expertise to identify high-impact opportunities and shape data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience on complex, high-scale digital products.
• Strong experience with ML, personalization, recommendation systems, and applied AI.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct ownership of delivery teams or P&L.
• Strong technical understanding and systems thinking.
• Experience partnering with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.
• Strong data literacy and data-informed decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with strategic storytelling.
• Customer-focused mindset solving real user problems.

Responsibilities

• Define 1–3 year ML product vision, KPIs and strategy for Trips ML capabilities.
• Act as the primary ML & AI partner to Trips product teams, ensuring ML capabilities align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Identify, shape, and prioritize high-impact ML and AI opportunities across attractions, flights, and ground transport.
• Provide ML domain expertise and advisory support to leadership, including feasibility assessment and solution design.
• Consult and brainstorm with product teams to co-create ML-powered product improvements and new experiences.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across Data & AI, Trips, Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial teams.
• Educate stakeholders on the capabilities, trade-offs, and responsible use of ML and AI.
• Mentor and coach Senior Product Managers on ML strategy, problem framing, and ML-driven product thinking.
• Analyze outcomes, share learnings, and build a knowledge base to inform decisions.
