Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to own and evolve production ML infrastructure in our London AI Engineering team. You will drive end-to-end ML pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and reliability, partnering with ML engineers and data engineers to deliver scalable AI products.

You will develop Python services, CI/CD workflows, and platform tooling, while ensuring performance, security, and observability across production ML systems in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting ML systems in production
• Experience building ML pipelines, deployment, serving, monitoring, or lifecycle infra
• Solid Python skills with web libraries (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
• Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD, and Azure
• Ability to own architecture decisions and troubleshoot complex prod systems
• Ability to work independently and lead within a collaborative team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve production ML infrastructure for training, deployment, serving, and monitoring
• Build and improve CI/CD, automation, and model delivery workflows
• Develop Python services, APIs, and tooling to support production ML workloads
• Ensure reliability, observability, performance, availability, and security across ML systems
• Troubleshoot production issues across software, infra, and ML workflows
• Drive architecture decisions and partner with ML/data engineers and product teams
