Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking an ML Ops Engineer in London to build and operate the ML lifecycle platform. You will automate deployment, observability and controls from model packaging to serving, monitoring and retraining. The role collaborates with research, software, platform and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable ML systems.

You will design CI/CD for ML, manage model metadata and experiment tracking, and improve robustness and cost efficiency through automation and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Strong production Python skills with clean APIs and testing.
• Experience deploying and operating ML models in production.
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, validation, inference, retraining, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build repeatable ML workflows for training, validation, deployment and retraining.
• Deploy and operate inference services in containerised cloud environments.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for ML systems with testing and release controls.
• Establish observability, dashboards, alerts and runbooks for reliability.
