Job summary

SMG is seeking an experienced MLOps Engineer to own the ML platform, tooling and operational standards for production models within Core Intelligence Services. You will enable packaging, versioning, CI/CD for ML, and reliable deployment across batch and online serving.

You’ll work in a data-driven environment across retail media data, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to ensure reliability, observability and reproducibility. A hybrid UK role with monthly travel to London.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience in ML engineering, ML platform or MLOps roles.
• Proven production deployment, monitoring, retraining and rollback in real systems.
• Strong platform engineering foundations: cloud (Azure/AWS), containers, IaC, CI/CD, and workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own the ML platform and tooling for production.
• Define deployment, monitoring and retraining workflows with clear ownership.
• Ensure data quality, drift monitoring and alerting for models in production.
• Lead with reproducibility and govern retraining lifecycles across models.
