Job summary

ExTrac AI in London is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to lead the ML team’s end-to-end modelling capabilities and production pipelines. You will collaborate with software engineering and product design to design, evaluate, and deploy scalable agentic systems for geopolitical analysis.

You will mentor colleagues, set technical direction on major initiatives, and drive production-grade solutions from prototype to reliable deployment in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Technical excellence in production systems at scale.
• Hands-on model serving with small models and LLMs and retrieval systems.
• Rigour in evaluation and benchmarking.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and maintainable code.
• Comfort with fast-paced environment and clear ownership.
• Experience with modern coding agents and workflows.

Responsibilities
