• Experience building production ML systems beyond notebooks, incl. serving patterns.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools and cloud-native ML platforms.
• Ability to influence infra and tooling decisions; balance build vs buy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Backend Engineers to bridge model development and production systems.
• Lead architectural design of end-to-end ML systems from data ingestion to real-time inference and monitoring.
• Transform prototypes into robust, scalable production software with path to production ownership.
• Advocate for MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, versioning, and feature stores.
• Communicate ML system trade-offs (latency vs. accuracy) to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build networks across Data and Engineering to integrate ML systems with the platform.
• Lead projects, mentor peers, and promote engineering excellence in data science.
