Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a registered Midwife to join our dedicated maternity team. The role covers the Sherwood Birthing Unit, Maternity Ward and Maternity Triage with rotational duties across sites.

You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate personalised care for women and babies, working autonomously and with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, respectful care and positive birth experiences.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with NMC registration.
• Experience across maternity settings and safeguarding.
• Willingness to travel between sites and work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Join the maternity team across the Sherwood Birthing Unit, Maternity Ward and Maternity Triage.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate personalised care for women and babies.
• Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, respectful care.
• Provide support throughout the maternity journey and contribute to positive birth experiences.
