Job summary

Scope AT Limited is seeking a senior Middleware Platforms Support Lead at Vice President level to join its Production Management & Service Delivery function in London. The role focuses on hands-on leadership and resolving complex production issues that affect critical services.

You will act as a senior escalation point and drive improvements in platform resilience, automation, monitoring and operational performance within a global banking environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IBM MQ administration and production support experience.
• Experience with AutoSys or equivalent enterprise workload automation.
• Strong Splunk experience: log analysis, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in an enterprise environment.
• Incident management, root cause analysis and technical remediation expertise.
• Experience improving platform resilience, automation and operational efficiency.
• Ability to own complex issues and provide senior technical leadership.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and out-of-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on administration and production support across IBM MQ, AutoSys, Splunk and integration platforms.
• Lead investigation, diagnosis and resolution of complex technical incidents.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for critical production issues.
• Drive platform engineering, automation and operational resilience improvements.
• Enhance monitoring, observability and alerting to improve service availability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application support, engineering and service management teams.
• Support business-critical services in a 24/7 production environment, including on-call and out-of-hours work.
• Improve technical standards, documentation and platform supportability.
