Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager for MIDAS (Motorway Incident Detection and Automatic Signalling) to own the operational performance, resilience and continual improvement of a critical roadside technology service. The role is hybrid with two days in the office and may be based at any UK NH location with some travel.

You will lead fault, event and problem management, analyse performance data, and collaborate across teams to deliver value throughout the asset

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, OT, IT or related field, ITIL qualification.
• Extensive experience managing complex IT/OT services in a large operational environment.
• Experience enabling operational decision-making in safety-critical environments.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable service improvements via data and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong communication to influence senior stakeholders and present performance information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance of MIDAS roadside technology services.
• Lead fault, event and problem management for MIDAS.
• Analyse service performance data, asset health information and incident trends.
• Collaborate with service design, procurement, asset managers and suppliers to feed lessons learned.
• Manage contracts, monitoring, reporting and financial aspects of the service.
