The Opportunity

I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a dynamic Senior Lead Purview Consultant to join the team and support and advise their clients on the implementation and enablement of Microsoft Purview and associated M365 and Azure Technologies, including end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.

The Role

You will work across various clients in different industries, collaborating closely with internal teams. Your key responsibilities include leading the delivery of Microsoft Purview solutions, helping clients navigate complex data governance, compliance, and risk management requirements. You will provide strategic and technical oversight, act as a trusted advisor and hands-on lead, support team capability development, and optimize existing deployments, designing scalable compliance architectures.

You will manage daily activities for a team of Senior, Regular, and Junior Consultants, evaluate and recommend Microsoft Purview technologies for data classification, protection, retention, and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure. You will design and deploy Purview features such as eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance, and Information Barriers. Additionally, you will advise on and implement best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance, support integration with other Microsoft services, and assess customer cloud security posture.

The Person:

Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. A thorough understanding of Purview features, including Information Protection, eDiscovery & Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, and Records Management. Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders. Passion for problem-solving, teamwork, and creating innovative solutions. Broad knowledge of Microsoft Security products such as Entra, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel. Eligibility or current SC Clearance due to project sensitivity.
