The Opportunity

I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a dynamic Senior Lead Purview Consultant to join the team and support and advise their clients on the implementation and enablement of Microsoft Purview and associated M365 and Azure Technologies, including end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.

The Role

You will work across various clients in different industries, collaborating closely with internal teams. Your key responsibility will be leading the delivery of Microsoft Purview solutions—helping clients navigate complex data governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.

You will provide strategic and technical oversight across projects, acting as a trusted advisor and hands-on leader. You will support the development of team capabilities and service offerings within Microsoft Purview, auditing and optimizing existing deployments, and designing scalable compliance architectures.

You will manage daily activities or support management activities for a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Junior Consultants.

You will evaluate, recommend, and implement Microsoft Purview technologies supporting data classification, protection, retention, and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Design and deploy Purview features such as eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance, and Information Barriers.

Advise on and implement best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview's advanced tools.

Support the integration of Purview with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Assess and review customer cloud security posture across multiple solutions and technologies.

Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals.

The Person:

Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

A thorough understanding of Purview features, including:

• Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels, encryption, etc.)
• eDiscovery & Communication Compliance
• Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management

Ability to clearly present findings, recommendations, and technical designs to clients and internal stakeholders.

A passion for problem-solving, collaborative teamwork, and creating innovative solutions.

A broad knowledge of Microsoft Security products such as Microsoft Entra (Identity, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Internet Access, Private Access), Microsoft 365 Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps), Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.

Due to project sensitivity, candidates should either have SC Clearance or be eligible to undertake SC clearance.
