Job summary

Adecco seeks a Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer (Azure & Microsoft 365) for Wembley on-site. The role focuses on maintaining a hybrid estate spanning on-premises infrastructure, M365, and cloud platforms.

You will own core Microsoft platforms, ensuring availability, security and operational excellence. The candidate should have 5+ years of infra/cloud experience and strong AD/identity management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on administration experience across Microsoft 365.
• Expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Strong Active Directory and identity management experience.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• PowerShell Scripting and automation experience.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, routing and Firewalls.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of platform security, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering and optimising Microsoft 365 services across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Managing identity and access across AD and Entra ID.
• Designing and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and on-premises.
• Implementing and maintaining SSO, MFA and Conditional Access policies.
• Supporting Microsoft 365 security, compliance and governance initiatives.
• Managing hybrid connectivity including VPNs, DNS, routing and Firewall integrations.
• Automating operational processes through PowerShell, Terraform and IaC practices.
• Supporting platform monitoring, patching, resilience and disaster recovery.
• Delivering cloud migration, transformation and optimisation projects.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation and operational standards.
• Working with infrastructure, networking, security and service teams to improve performance.
