Job summary

Appvia is seeking anAzure Senior Platform Engineer in London with UK security clearance eligibility. This permanent, hybrid role offers £75,000 - £90,000 base plus a 10% bonus and 10% equity, plus benefits.

You will guide customers on cloud maturity, architect and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions, and lead DevOps practices within cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have strong Azure experience, familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, and automation, and the ability to mentor others

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud platforms.
• Proficient in CI/CD, IaC, and automation practices.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Azure cloud expertise and eligibility for UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to assess infrastructure and develop cloud/DevOps strategies.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-native solutions.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC practices.
• Mentor junior team members and foster continuous learning.
• Engage with stakeholders to align with business objectives and deliverables.
• Contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) and lead on small projects.
• Stay current with cloud trends and share knowledge across the team.
