Job summary

CityFibre Limited seeks a Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist to operate, improve and evolve our Microsoft 365 platform across identity, endpoint management, security and AI capabilities. You’ll implement secure access, device management, and governance while guiding third-line support and automation initiatives.

You’ll work with Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Copilot and Microsoft Graph to strengthen security and user experience, delivering reliable services across Windows, macOS and mobile

Qualifications

• Strong Entra ID experience with CA, authentication, identity security and access governance.
• Experience with Intune including Autopilot, compliance and deployment.
• Broad Microsoft 365 administration across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Security and compliance tech including Defender, Purview, DLP or information protection.
• PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for administration, reporting and automation.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge and third-line support for complex 365 issues.

• Manage identity, authentication and access controls with Conditional Access and passwordless auth.
• Administer devices via Intune across Windows, Apple and Android.

• Provide third-line support for complex incidents and mentor helpdesk staff.
• Support Copilot and AI governance using PowerShell and Graph to automate admin tasks.

Joining us as a Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist

You'll play a key role in operating, improving and evolving the Microsoft 365 platform that supports secure and effective working across CityFibre. Working across identity, endpoint management, security, collaboration and emerging AI capabilities, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with platform improvement, automation and third-line support. You'll work with technologies including Microsoft 365 E5, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview and Copilot, helping us strengthen security, improve the user experience and safely introduce new capabilities.

You'll receive a salary of up to £64,000 DOE, a performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

• Operating and improving Microsoft 365 services across Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive
• Managing identity, authentication and access controls, including Conditional Access, passwordless authentication and access governance
• Managing devices through Intune, including Autopilot, compliance, configuration, application deployment and device lifecycle across Windows, Apple and Android
• Strengthening security and data protection through Microsoft Defender, Purview, Data Loss Prevention and secure configuration
• Providing third-line support for complex Microsoft 365 incidents and escalations, alongside technical guidance and knowledge transfer to our helpdesk team
• Supporting Copilot and AI governance while using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to automate and standardise Microsoft 365 administration

What you'll bring to the role

You'll be an experienced, hands-on Microsoft 365 specialist with strong expertise across identity, endpoint management and security, comfortable taking ownership of complex technical work and driving improvements across the platform. You'll also have:

• Strong Microsoft Entra ID experience, including Conditional Access, authentication, identity security and access governance
• Strong Microsoft Intune experience, including Autopilot, compliance policies, configuration profiles and application deployment
• Broad Microsoft 365 administration experience across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive
• Experience with Microsoft security and compliance technologies including Defender, Purview, DLP or information protection
• PowerShell and Microsoft Graph experience for administration, reporting and automation
• Strong cyber security knowledge alongside experience troubleshooting complex Microsoft 365 issues and providing third-line technical support
