Job summary

AES is seeking a Metrology Engineer to support new product introductions, manufacturing quality and process validation in Gloucestershire/Wiltshire. The role focuses on CMM and vision inspection, with first article inspections and capability studies to ensure measurement integrity.

You will interpret engineering drawings with GD&T, program CMMs, calibrate equipment, and investigate issues to deliver precise technical reports.

Qualifications

• Mechanical apprenticeship or strong precision inspection experience.
• Confident interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on CMM programming and first-principle measurement skills.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing advantageous; MCOSMOS desirable.

Salary: £36,000-£42,000 (Includes Shift Allowance) + Bonus + Benefits / Rotating Early and Late Shifts

Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

• Mechanical apprenticeship or strong precision inspection experience.
