Job summary

Serco Group Plc is seeking an Aircraft Engineering Supervisor (Mechanical) at RNAS Culdrose to lead high‑quality mechanical engineering support for Merlin helicopters under AESAS and IMOS contracts. You will ensure safety, precision, and regulatory compliance while guiding a small team of fitters in a busy naval airfield environment.

The role requires extensive Merlin airworthiness experience, hands‑on systems knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an airworthiness environment with Merlin aircraft experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience on Merlin aircraft systems and servicing.
• Knowledge of CIETP and Naval Publications; COSHH and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality engineering support across AESAS and IMOS.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety practices.
• Lead a small team of fitters, ensuring procedures and tool use.
• Contribute to operational readiness of Merlin helicopters.
