Job summary

Smiths News is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to cover the Staines area on a part-time basis. The role is field-based, 18 hours per week, permanent, with a salary of £14.80 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) plus mileage.

The successful candidate will hold a full clean driving licence with access to their own vehicle, and have experience in retail or field marketing. You’ll be committed to high standards and excellent customer service, with induction and pension support from Smiths News.

About the role

Our Senior Merchandisers support our Merchandisers and Field Performance Managers in achieving successful execution of routine audits and supporting the team to achieve targets and KPI’s across their geographical territory.

You will also be responsible for assisting in the recruitment, development and retention of a team of dedicated Merchandisers and deliver annual refresher training as needed.
